Once the ET tube is placed, you can remove the air-Q with the removal stylet. It is specifically designed with
while deflating the cuff of the air-Q. As the patient becomes lighter from the anesthetic gases, the cuff of the ET is
deflated and the tube removed.
Next, they inflate the air-Q cuff once again, until the patient is breathing spontaneously, and the air-Q is removed.

19.Place removal stylet into the ET Tube within the air-Q
Turn the removal stylet clockwise
Lock the removal stylet place, advance the stylet pressure on the stylet remove the device
Continuation of air-Q Removal
Rotate Stylet counter-clockwise to remove it
Reinflate ET Tube cuff replace connector
